Magna Carta
The Magna Carta was a document list of right. In 1215 the nobles made the king accept their rights so even he can't ignore the Magna Carta so evryone was required to obey the law. A counil of nobles was created to advise the king and this council developed into a parliament which is a lawmaking body that governs England today.
